Class size: Limited to 15

This class will teach you all you need to know to create a beautiful, well-made linocut from first draft to final print. Liz will introduce students to materials and tools while guiding them by showing carving techniques. Each student will create 2 carvings with several printing opportunities to take home.
Instructor Liz Shepherd, a Pretty Prairie, Kansas native, creates artwork in several mediums. Liz works with everything from paper, canvas, fiber, and photography. Liz received her AA degree in studio arts and has since studied and developed a passion for printmaking especially. Liz Is co-owner of The Rural Muse Art Gallery in Kingman, Kansas.

Pull up your lawn chair around the campfire and join us for a family-friendly event as professional storyteller, Priscilla Howe, entertains you with ghost stories. Please make sure to bring a lawn chair or blanket!
Storyteller Priscilla Howe has told eerie stories since 1988, in fifteen countries on four continents. She'll begin the evening with funny-scary stories for all ages, moving into scarier (and gorier) fare for older kids and adults as the night goes on.
